We live in a time of unprecedented fear - bombarded by predictions of planetary doom, of financial instability, violence in our city, even the natural aging process. We can allow these fears to hold us hostage, keep us stuck, or shut us down.
But what if instead we could learn to let our fears form a new agenda for our life? – in fact open us to new possibility, new openings to self awareness, new gifts hidden beneath the shadows and a freeing up of energy that seeks to express itself purposefully in the world?
This workshop is for you if you long to courageously lean into your fear. Through the use of guided imagery, soulful exploration and sharing our stories this workshop holds the invitation to create a new relationship with fear. Together we will find our way through the paralysis to remember why it is we are here on the planet, dip into the well of our own self-compassion and reclaim the heart of courage that is our birthright.

This 10 evening course, facilitated by well known psychotherapist
and lecturer Grace Ross, will serve as an in-depth introduction
to spiritually oriented counselling for nurses and other health
professionals who work in complementary care. Course content will
include both energetic and psychodynamic theory as well as an opportunity
to practice gifts of clairvoyance and intuition. An extensive reading
list will be provided. Opportunities for ongoing mentorship on
an individual or group basis with Grace can be arranged on completion
of the course.

stirring reflection of the natural world. Above all, she holds

Bumping Into Our Projections

 Have
you ever been in the place where someone is laying the absolute
biggest PROJECTION onto you? You know the ones - where you are suddenly
THE worst person they've ever met, or you remind them of their most
loving (or abusive) parent, or they're SURE you are their soul-mate
connected from before time?
Remember how decidedly uncomfortable these projections made you
feel? - As if they didn't really belong to you, but took form somewhere
deep in the unconscious of the other?
And to make matters worse, you KNOW you have done the same to others,
(even if acknowledging it came some time after the fact). The intoxication
of the positive feelings (falling in love anyone?) and the intensity
of the negative feelings ("I can't STAND him") are your
first clues that projections may be running amok in our psyche.
This workshop will give you the chance to unlock some of the mysteries
of Projection - where they come from, how they got there, and for
heaven's sake what to do with them once they are rearing their heads.
We will jump into this soup together - with courage, lots of laughter,
great experiential exercises and eye-opening revelations. No one
will be put on the hot seat - although you may find yourself sitting
there of your own accord. First and foremost, this journey is one
of your own un-masking - at your own pace and with lots of self-compassion.

The
Hero's Journey

human quest for love, the disruption of loss, or the urge to serve
are all starting points for what mythologists have called The Hero's
Journey. Our individual and cultural stories embody either a story
of resistance or acceptance of the great heroic process. Understanding
the stages, challenges, and allies in the Hero's Journey can gift
us perception or lift us with perspective.
The purpose of this workshop is to open our hearts and deepen our
souls as we explore three main stages in the transformative journey:
Separation, Transformation, and Integration. Participants will be
fully engaged through the a range of experiential learnings, from
powerful sound rituals to imaginative guided meditations.

Dream Work Intensive –
a weekend Soulground Workshop

 Dreams
are the language of the soul, and as such come to us in symbols,
images and sensations that are often puzzling to our waking world
awareness. For centuries humans have sat in council to talk about
their dreams - curious about the hidden messages, hoping to access
the soul guidance available and intent on tapping into the power
that is present in the subtle dimensions of the dream world.
Drawing on Jungian, shamanic and soulcraft traditions, this workshop
will teach you ways to understand soul messages that come from the
dream state by exploring the interface between dreams and day world
associations. Through experiential exercises and strategies for
exploring the mysteries of dream language, we will come to honour
the visions we have brought to consciousness and celebrate how dreams
support our lives.
Participants are encouraged to bring at least two recent dreams.
Note: This two day workshop is limited to 6 participants
to allow for intensive personal work with your dreams. A non-refundable
deposit of $50 will secure your space in this dream work intensive
– register early!
No prerequisites – all are welcome. Cost: $145 +GST. Lunch

are underway for the new year to offer a course both in KW and Toronto
for health professionals who want to incorporate spiritually directed
counselling in their practice.
In order to create a course tailored to your needs I am looking
for input from health professionals (body workers, chiropractors,
energy healers, massage therapists, Yoga teachers, Reiki practitioners,
counselors, nurses and therapists).
Some possible topics include:
- Developing skills in energetic awareness and intuition
- An overview of contemporary transpersonal psychological approaches
and spiritually directed treatment methods
- How to recognize spiritual distress
- Key psychospiritual emotional issues
- The holistic approach to mind/body/spirit healing
- Guiding others from a soul-based context
